Okay in Kitty Hawk, NC

I have no cell or landline phone, but internet and power are working.
Lots of tree limbs down everywhere.  Sounds like major soundside flooding.  Will be going out at 9am to view area.
Ocean Atlantic Rentals not opening today probably, sounds like power and roads down in various places.
Will get to Blake's house this afternoon, where he does have a working land line.
Thank you for the prayers!  Praying for NYC right now!!

Conditions in Kitty Hawk are windy (wind picked up around 8am), rainy, but fine.

Hunker Down for Irene

I will provide a few posts, pics and videos of Hurrincane Irene, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, from a Kitty Hawk perspective.
You will see and hear what the wEather channel will tell you, but this will be raw footage... Free from the filters of the media giant, that has made big business on weather speculation.

I work in Kill Devil Hills, Duck, Point Harbor, and Corolla North Carolina and will post on-site from these locations.

only con is it basically forced us to install their music mix app to work, after working without app for a while. App is okay, just I would rather not have extra apps I don't want.

GREAT sound for a small room makes it well worth it. I did a fair amount of research, and I am very pleased, for the price and features it rocks!
